ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Michelle is an Artist who works mainly in oils.

She lives in South West London not far from the River Thames, Richmond Park and Barnes Village.  

 

Michelle attended Southend College of Art and followed a successful career in Fashion for over 40 years.

Taking an early retirement she has been able to concentrate on her passion of painting landscapes, animals and flowers.

Michelle loves painting 'en plein air' and allows the light and atmosphere of the landscape to seep into her painting, creating drama or a quietness, depending on the elements at the time.

​

Michelle also specialises in pet portraits. She has completed many commissions encapsulating the personality of the chosen animal.

​

Michelle is an active member of Barnes Artists, Bobcat Gallery and the Society of Feline Artists (SOFA). She won Landscape Artist 2021 at the Barnes Exhibition.
